Last Wednesday I had the opportunity to stand in line for 3 hours to see Michelle Obama at Fort Lewis College, and, with 3,500 other people, I did. Four years ago, Sarah, our friend Katy, and I saw Michelle, Oprah, Caroline Kennedy, Maria Shriver, and Stevie Wonder at UCLA. Even back then, before I knew much about her, Michelle was an inspiring speaker. Today, she is perhaps even more so. She highlighted Barack’s achievements as well as called all voters to action: “We can’t turn back now.”
