That’s What He Said

If I had a vote, I would be voting for Obama. It’s the worst situation to be in because you’re watching the madness, not able to do anything about it. In Britain, there’s a basic understanding that we have a National Health Service. It is sacred and it is a wonderful thing and we accept that. In the US, it drives me nuts listening to people talking about ‘European Socialism’. They are not talking about Eastern Europe when it was under communist rule – they’re talking about France and England and Spain – they are insane. I take it for granted that we should be looking out for each other, but that’s not necessarily true here in the States.

One Response to That’s What He Said

  1. And the ‘only the rich should have decent heath care, if any’ attitude of that kind of thinking, continues to boggle my mind. It’s embarrassing that Mr. Dancy wants to help and can’t, AND that his statement could be twisted by right wing spin doctors to make him sound like a threat to jerks who eschew critical thinking. This dirty business hurts so much. That’s why I took some hope from The Idiot Speaketh and reblogged his recent political rant. It’s much better than a rant.
