The Night of Seven Guinni

By Sarah Jost

One year ago, Geo Ong embarked on a journey of mythical proportions. He decided to attempt a feat undertaken only once before in the history of humankind. Well, at least that we know of. In celebration of his 23rd birthday, Geo endeavored to tie the Geonness World Record for most Guinness beers consumed in one go. Luckily, I was on hand to document this historic achievement:

The night begins…

No Guinness is safe.

Another Guinness falls. Geo keeps his cool…

Is it me or are the Guinnesses getting closer? And more blurry…

Six Guinnesses to the wind.

Virginia Woolf had three, Geo had seven. Oh wait, that was guinea.

*Disclaimer: This was, unfortunately, one of the last times the Urchins would enjoy their beloved Guinness. We suffered a devastating blow last year when we learned that Guinness uses isinglass (the air bladders of fish) in its refining process. Visit Barnivore to find out if you’re drinking with the fishes.
